CardioMEMS HF System: A Paradigm Shift in Heart Failure Management

This previously recorded program, sponsored by Abbott, will review innovative strategies related to heart failure management. During the course of the program, there will be in depth discussions on best practices for incorporating the CardioMEMS HF System into your clinic. Our experts will also present case studies highlighting the use of pulmonary artery (PA) pressure monitoring to remotely manage heart failure patients.

This program is designed for clinicians interested in learning about Merlin.net Patient Care Network (PCN), part of the CardioMEMS HF System. This training covers several key features of the Merlin.net PCN, including:

  • Navigating the Merlin.net PCN user interface
  • Using the Notifications List
  • Customizing patient settings including setting goals and thresholds
  • Assessing patients and taking actions

Simulation - CardioMEMS HF System Implant Procedure

This interactive simulation training, commentated by David M. Shavelle, M.D., will familiarize learners with the implant and techniques used during a CardioMEMS HF System implant procedure.

Course Duration: Self-paced simulated environment
Simulation Instructions: Once you have launched the online simulation, you will use the right and left arrows to navigate through the various screens. To participate in the step-by-step procedures, click the TOGGLE COPY button on the simulation player navigation bar, then follow the screen prompts.
