With your CardioMEMS™ HF System, you and your care team can remotely monitor your pulmonary artery (PA) pressure to help manage heart failure before symptoms appear.¹ The information from your daily readings helps your care team track your condition between visits and adjust your treatment if needed, all from the comfort of your home.

CardioMEMS HERO Device
Your CardioMEMS™ HERO Device allows you to take daily PA pressure readings from home. The readings take only a few minutes, and they are automatically sent to your doctor. The smaller and lighter2* design of the HERO Device makes it easy for daily use and to travel3.

How to Take a PA Pressure Reading with Your HERO Device
A pulmonary artery pressure reading takes less than one minute with a few easy steps.
Make sure your HERO Device is powered on and connected using WiFi or cellular service.
Lie down on the reader and follow the on-screen prompts to find the best position for your reading.
Start the reading and remain still while the device records your pulmonary artery pressure reading.
Once the reading is complete, the information is automatically sent to your care team.
Troubleshooting a Reading with Your HERO Device
Connection issues: If your device cannot connect to WiFi or cellular service, your reading is automatically saved and will be sent the next time a connection becomes available.
WiFi issues: Make sure you have your WiFi network name and password available. The HERO Device cannot connect to open networks or networks that require a browser login.
Missed reading: Take a reading as soon as possible and continue following your care team's instructions.
