This page outlines courses specifically designed for PGY7 and 8 Fellows working towards their Advanced Heart Failure or Cardiac Surgery certifications. This year we have further tailored the curriculum to have a course for PGY6 Fellows going into specialty fellowship so the two courses here will be dedicated to PGY7 and 8 Fellows.
Course offerings for the current academic year will include technologies such as the CardioMEMS HF System, HeartMate 3 LVAD, and the CentriMag Acute Circulatory Support System.

This educational program will address knowledge gaps related to heart failure management for advanced heart failure patients. At the end of the program, participants will have a greater understanding of how to optimize medical and device therapy for patients across the full spectrum of heart failure, integrating emerging technologies for remote monitoring and mechanical circulatory support.
