How It Works
Here's How the Confirm Rx ICM with SharpSense Technology Works
The Confirm Rx ICM device continuously monitors patient rhythm and connects directly to the myMerlin™ Mobile App via Bluetooth® wireless technology.
The downloadable myMerlin Mobile App serves as an integrated transmitter and symptom recorder, as well as a repository of resources for the patient.
Using a direct, low-energy Bluetooth® wireless technology connection to the device, the app proactively transmits data per a schedule you set for your patient, minimizing interruptions to their daily life. The patient receives alerts about successful device checks and clinic scheduled transmissions, as well as connection issues.
Patients can choose to send their own transmissions as needed without waiting for a nightly sync.
Patients can also annotate symptomatic events with specific keywords, such as "fainted" or "fluttering,” providing you and other clinicians greater insights for confident diagnosis.
Transmissions are sent to Merlin.net Patient Care Network (PCN), providing clinicians with data and reports.
