More people living with heart failure may have access to the CardioMEMS HF System
If you have heart failure, the CardioMEMS™ HF System—designed for pulmonary artery pressure monitoring— has received expanded insurance coverage. Medicare and Medicare Advantage will cover the CardioMEMS HF System for more heart failure patients, including those previously denied.*
Work with your care team to determine if you are a candidate for the CardioMEMS HF System.
The CardioMEMS HF System helps monitor your pressures before you experience symptoms that may impact your health1
To get a first-hand perspective about the benefits of being remotely monitored, you can speak one-on-one with someone living with heart failure, like Beth, whose life has improved by using the CardioMEMS HF System.
What You Can Do To Get Started:
Contact Your
Care Team
Speak with your care team to help determine if you may be a candidate for the CardioMEMS HF System. They can reach out to Abbott if they have questions about our expanded coverage.

Receive Prior Authorization
Your care team will work with you and your insurance to determine the appropriate paperwork needed to get started. If you have Medicare, no prior authorization is needed, but prior authorization is still needed for Medicare Advantage plans.
