Assert-IQ ICM

Designed to Outperform, Built to Outlast

Remote Programming

Remote programming allows clinicians to adjust the settings of the Assert-IQ™ Insertable Cardiac Monitor (ICM), optimize performance, and limit unnecessary alerts or transmissions for connected devices – all without requiring the patient to visit the clinic.*

How the Assert-IQ ICM is Programmed

Assert-IQ ICM, sometimes referred to as a loop recorder, is powered by state-of-the-art Bluetooth® technology and remote capabilities, so you can provide reliable support for your patients and maintain an easy workflow for your clinic.

How to Enhance Your Workflow Flexibility

The Merlin.net™ Patient Care Network (PCN) offers a simple, intuitive, and secure remote programming solution for Assert-IQ ICM. With the exception of essential patient information such as name, date of birth, and reason for monitoring, all parameters can be easily and securely programmed remotely to enhance patient monitoring. Abbott’s advanced technology in remote care ensures the process is seamless and efficient, providing healthcare professionals with the tools they need to deliver exceptional patient care.

Fast and Secure Data Transfers

Advanced Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE) technology checks in every 20 seconds with the connected device (this is also known as the advertising rate), to capture, encrypt, and transfer data to the Merlin.net PCN quickly and easily.
