This course offers:

  • Unique, interactive, case-based didactic learning
  • Hands-on complications management, technical skills labs, and product training workshops

PCI Masters is a pre-requisite to access Advanced Sub-Specialty training programs (CTO & LV Support courses).

COMPLEX PCI

An extension of PCI Masters courses, the Complex PCI courses offer extended customized learning focused on therapeutic assessment and technical skill development in a Live Case format. The course curriculum is tailored to address the specific objectives of the attendees in a small group format.

OPTIS COURSES - PHYSICIAN AND SUPER USER (STAFF) COURSES

The OPTIS OCT FFR courses provide an in depth overview of emerging complex PCI trends with an emphasis on the applications of coronary physiologic assessment and incorporation of intracoronary imaging techniques into routine practice.

Setting: Small to mid-size group practicum in a hospital setting.

CTO PCI COURSES

The focus of the CTO PCI training program is to understand and master the techniques required to perform Hybrid CTO PCI. These courses are designed for interventional cardiologists who perform >100 PCIs annually and who have hospital administrative support to adopt a CTO program within their hospital.

  • The CTO 101 course provides physicians with a thorough understanding if the Hybrid-Algorithmic approach to CTO PCI. Upon completion physicians will have an in depth understanding of antegrade and retrograde crossing techniques, a mastery of the CTO toolbox, and the technical skills required to perform CTO PCI.
  • The CTO 202 course is an extension of the CTO 101 course these 1:1 proctoring opportunities are designed to assist with the application of the technical skills required to perform CTO PCI.

ENDOMASTERS PROGRAM

The EndoMasters Courses offer a practical, case-based approach to endovascular interventions with a focus on identifying treatment modalities, evaluating vascular access for a variety of interventions, and formulating treatment algorithms that can be used in every day practice.

ENDO PROCTORSHIP

Endo Proctorships offer verbal instruction for physicians, by an experienced operator, that focuses on product preparation, product use, and best practices for complication avoidance. The product focus includes: Supera, endo guide wires, carotid products, and/or vessel closure.

CAS FUNDAMENTALS

Participant discussion and hands-on workshops that focus on the therapeutic considerations for carotid artery stenting and Abbott's carotid products indications for use.

This program meets the FDA training requirement and is required if the physician wishes to order Abbott's carotid products.

CORONARY FELLOWS: TOTAL PCI SOLUTIONS

This Fellows course utilizes a system-based teaching method, didactic modules, interactive case reviews, and hands-on product modeling workshops, Fellows will be challenged to rethink treatment strategy and product selection based on the clinical insight and treatment rationale from the program faculty.

CORONARY FELLOWS: THE PCI TOOLBOX – FROM DESIGN TO PRACTICE

This Fellows course utilizes a system-based teaching method, didactic modules, interactive case reviews, manufacturing tours, and hands-on product modeling workshops, Fellows will be challenged to rethink treatment strategy and product selection based on the clinical insight and treatment rationale from the program faculty. Attendees will also come away with a much deeper understanding of product components and the engineering principles behind stents, wires, and balloons, leading to a better grasp of product performance in the clinical setting.

ENDOFELLOWS: MASTERING COMPLEX PERIPHERAL INTERVENTIONS

This Fellows course utilizes a system-based teaching method, didactic modules, interactive case reviews, and hands-on product modeling workshops. Fellows will be challenged to rethink treatment strategies and product selection based on the clinical insight and treatment rationale from the program faculty.
