Our PCI Optimization courses provide processes and hands-on practice for Interventional Cardiologists, Cardiologists, and Clinical Staff who wish to advance their OCT and physiology through a combination of lab, didactic, and case-based learning.

PCI Optimization Course

This PCI Optimization course will describe the process for image acquisition, interpretation, and understanding the benefits of pre and post PCI OCT assessments using the new MLD MAX Algorithm. The course format includes Didactic, Case Based Presentations, Hands on Laptops & Live Case Viewing in Lab.

Designed For: Physicians who want to expand their OCT skills and learn how to apply the new optimization algorithm system.

CHIP Courses

The Complex Higher-Risk (And Indicated) Patients (CHIP) courses offer extended customized learning focused on therapeutic assessment and technical skill development in a clinical setting. The course curriculum includes Side Branch Access, Large Vessel Atherectomy, LV support and Large Hole Closure. Course format includes Didactic, Case Based Presentations, and Live Case Viewing in Lab.

CTO Training Program (101)

The objective of our CTO Training Program is to increase access to this therapy for patients by teaching the “Hybrid Algorithm”. This curriculum includes didactic content and live case observation over 2 days.

Designed For: Interventional Cardiologists who want to learn CTO-PCI, and perform 100 or more PCI’s annually.

CTO Proctorship Program (202)

Learn the “Hybrid Algorithm” approach to CTO-PCI. This curriculum includes case review, didactic content, and on-site direct case proctoring. This is a 1:1 training session in which the proctor and Abbott CTO faculty travel to a site in which CTO cases were scheduled for the day of CTO case proctoring.

PCI Masters

The focus of this course is understanding the best clinical practices that will facilitate consistent high-quality therapy delivery with a focus on improving patient outcomes when treating patients with CAD. This course offers unique interactive case-based learning in a group format practicum, hands on complications management, technical skills labs, and product training workshops that utilize OCT, DES, guide wires and vessel closure.

5 hands-on workshops that cover: Vessel Closure, OCT, Side Branch Access, Trapping/Hydroplaning and tips and tricks on using Guide Extensions/Micro Catheters
