A Smooth Setup and Patient Experience

Patients are enrolled in Merlin.net™ Patient Care Network (PCN)Abbott SyncUP Remote Monitoring support experts contact patients after enrollment.

The patient is given a brochure letting them know they will be contacted by an Abbott SyncUP support expert. The expert will educate the patients on remote monitoring and assist them with setting up their remote monitoring product. Patients should watch for a call from Abbott SyncUP.

Within five days of receiving the request from the clinic, an Abbott SyncUP Remote Monitoring support expert will work with your patient to set up their remote monitoring product. The expert will:

  • Assess if the patient needs an Abbott transmitter or has the required product already
  • Explain how to use the remote monitoring equipment and educate the patient about remote monitoring
  • Answer questions related to remote monitoring
  • Assist with a transmission to your clinic, if needed
