Abbott is committed to supporting women in the sciences — from its STEM program for young women and participation in the #IlooklikeanEngineer campaign to its ongoing support for innovative programs like Women in Electrophysiology (EP).
The Women in EP program offers a unique forum for female electrophysiologists from around the world to discuss ground-breaking technologies and pressing questions in electrophysiology.
Leading EPs present on the latest clinical data, share challenging case studies, and discuss relevant topics, all with an emphasis on translating these ideas into practical applications.
More importantly, the program is an opportunity for female EPs to engage with their peers, to provide mentoring, and to support career empowerment.
Abbott’s commitment with our veteran program chairs began 10 years ago in California as a small symposium – built by physicians, for physicians. Today, the Women in EP initiative supports various programs throughout the year and has drawn participants from the United States, Canada, Latin America, Europe, Japan and India.
