Regent™ 大動脈機械弁はインプラント性を提供し、冠動脈のクリアランス確保を期待できるロープロファイルを特徴とします。2 種類のカフタイプ（フレックスカフとスタンダードカフ）があり、異なるオプションを利用できます。Regent™ 大動脈機械弁は、大動脈起始部の小さな患者さんの血行動態にも寄与できる可能性があります 1*。
Prosthesis-patient mismatch(PPM) 予防のため、AbbottはRegent™ 大動脈機械弁をデザインしました。Regent™ 弁の高い弁口/弁輪比（84%）により、有効弁口面積（EOA）が広くなり、Prosthesis-Patient Mismatch（PPM）の抑制が期待されます2。
Regent™弁は幅広い INR の患者さんにおいて、血栓塞栓症、血栓症、出血がいずれも少ないというデータもあり、選択肢の1つとなり得ます 3-6。
