PRODUCT HIGHLIGHTS

  • A family of slittable inner catheters with integrated valve designed to assist with coronary sinus cannulation, branch vein subselection and left-heart lead delivery.
  • Three CPS Aim® SL inner catheters enable atraumatic subselection and Direct-to-Target™ lead placement.
  • A combination of PEBAX® material that becomes softer from the proximal to the distal end and increased braid wire at the distal end provide for a torqueable, kink-resistant and soft-tipped subselector.
  • Two CPS Aim® cannulators assist with coronary sinus access.
  • The catheter body and tip are clearly seen under fluoroscopy.

Indications: The St. Jude Medical CPS Aim® SL slittable inner catheter (subselector/cannulator) is designed for intracardiac access of the coronary sinus and subselection of the venous system of the heart, and to serve as a conduit during implantation for the delivery of contrast medium and St. Jude Medical devices, including guidewires. In addition, CPS Aim SL slittable inner catheters (subselector/cannulator) can work with outer guide catheters as a system.

Potential Adverse Events: As with any catheterization procedure, potential complications include thromboembolism, local and systemic infection, bleeding or hematoma at the puncture site, vascular dissection or perforation, cardiac perforation, and cardiac tamponade.
